Over the past year, I’ve had a lot of interest in guy senior portrait sessions (and yes, I do do them). Now, I definitely don’t do nearly as many senior guys as girls, but I have definitely found a new love for photographing guys. Of course, the experience is a little different from my senior girl portrait experience, but I began to realize that just like mothers want their daughters to have this experience, that mothers that have sons also want their sons to have this experience and document this moment.
Gavin is graduating Moorhead High School in 2019. He was absolutely great to work with. I was even more excited when we were able to create “outside the box” ideas for his session. Of course, he has his love for hockey, his Subaru, and the guitar, but his style brought a fresh look to each of those elements. Check out how we even used a bonfire to create something unique!
